Halloween 3: (Commercial Spoof)

This is a short I made based on Halloween III: Season of the Witch and Poltergeist I, to try out some new ghost special effects. Effects: The video was made using a Canon XL1s, After Effects CS3 for effects and Vegas 6 for sequencing. One of the ghosts is my 60 lbs. anatomy skeleton suspended from wires I operated like a puppet while I stood behind it wearing a black robe and hood. It was filmed with a black backdrop, and I used (track matte mode: screen) to composite it. The corpse face on the actor was a photo of a dummy masked onto the actor using motion tracking. I waved an ink pen around to get my cat to look at the CGI orbs. The orbs were lens flairs generated in Photoshop. The energy was made using particle worlds, vector blur, fast blur and a ramp adjustment layer for color. The lightening is the advanced lightening filter. Rending Settings: Mode: CBR Size: 1052x540 Aspect: 0.9091 Frame Rate: 29.979 Bit Rate: 6 M

That was sorta neat and almost mesmerizing. It was almost like Halloween 3 meets Poltergeist meets David Lynch. You got potential kid.

Hahaha! Yeah the bugs would have looked cool. I dont think I will be letting a bunch of devil fetus bugs crawl out of my mouth and into the walls to start breading. Those things are horrifying! Its going to have to be bug free.
blackoctane65 (July 19, 2009 at 10:25 am)
