After an in-depth discussion with my Professional Physiotherapist friend I have decided to extend the Pressure point series in to deeper Levels, of understanding, therefore a more extensive series based on True Anatomy.
The Quadratus Lumborum, A primary target on the back,
see more on my site http://gekiryudojo.com/index%2...
Easy to hit, and has a great amount of spasm and pain , as well a causing the person to lose balance by making the side and back rigid though spasm.
If you have a lot of lower/side back pain the culprit is likely to be the Quadratus Lumborum that is damaged.
The first in a new series of pressure point Videos, Covering every major and many minor Kyusho/Atemi or pressure points on the body,
A great benefit to Martial Artists in Any Style,

gekiryudojo (February 6, 2010 at 5:01 pm)
the Guys are going down in a response to the pain , the point effects the breathing posture and the side you hit on it also stops them hitting with the arm on that side it spasms the whole area
TheSpeedygear (February 6, 2010 at 4:50 am)
if u do that presssure point move to some one else.....can they be able to move their legs again?
gekiryudojo (January 30, 2010 at 1:21 pm)
yes
Liquidcadmus (January 30, 2010 at 1:17 pm)
the back points are really dangerous, does systema also teach reanimation for when you work on vital points?
GearzVoNKod3 (January 20, 2010 at 12:52 pm)

gekiryudojo (August 15, 2009 at 2:51 pm)
Back pain can be caused by a number of things and QL could be the cause. However, when doing situps you are using your hip flexor muscles as well as abdominal muscles - one of the hip flexors is "psoas major" which attaches to the lower back from T12 to L5 so this could be the source. If it is causing you problems or you are worried about it you should seek professional advice.
Neon25x (August 15, 2009 at 9:44 am)
Could this have any connection to the pain i have in my back in that area when i do about sixty situps?
gekiryudojo (August 12, 2009 at 3:13 am)
yes ok.
lodshadow (August 12, 2009 at 1:40 am)
ouch , so its goods to practice this in systema and get it done to you right?
gekiryudojo (August 11, 2009 at 10:11 pm)
when you hit it a lot harder than I am doing here, I can only show you I may do a video on striking, if you watch Pressure points of the Torso 5 I really did break his sternum! for real at 3:43
lodshadow (August 11, 2009 at 9:59 pm)
then will it damage the nerves or even that deep tissue?
gekiryudojo (August 8, 2009 at 12:45 pm)
I'm hitting the QL, not the kidney, the kidneys are well protected under the ribs they are also very tough and you also 2 of them your body has backups for everything something overlooked by kyusho-jitsu guys
lodshadow (August 8, 2009 at 7:00 am)
does that damage the kidneys ?
Plz Answer ASAP

lawson7765 (May 29, 2009 at 3:49 am)
Brilliant.
ChrisL1100 (May 9, 2009 at 8:56 pm)
aww ok thanks
gekiryudojo (May 9, 2009 at 8:53 pm)
it is the muscle that Supports the back when breathing out hard, and sideway movement, people tear it by picking heavy objects up from the side in the wrong position instead of from the front with a straight back.
ChrisL1100 (May 9, 2009 at 6:49 pm)
is that the pressure point that stops the legs from functioning like lifting something?
JUJUTSUBILL (April 29, 2009 at 9:48 am)
Nice.
darthtomygun (April 25, 2009 at 1:09 am)

LOL, and thanks
criticalmass181 (March 23, 2009 at 1:32 pm)
Yes...I wouldn't really kill anything (but if you want to try your luck against me on FSX gold F-118, i'll make you a floating aluminium paper weight in no time...), but I love the idea of being able to difuse a situation, without really hurting anyone....much. Love your work.
gekiryudojo (March 22, 2009 at 5:19 pm)
Im not really into killing anything (unless it is Halo on Xbox live then your dead!) I am left handed by nature but use both hands as needed thanks for subcribing!
criticalmass181 (March 22, 2009 at 1:15 am)
Love it. I'm really into the 'death by not much force' thing. Are you left handed?, or do you use both hands equally (ambidexterity)? In any case, subscribed.
gekiryudojo (March 15, 2009 at 3:52 am)
get out of the way of yourself and it all happens
gekiryudojo (March 15, 2009 at 3:49 am)
Aggression comes from trying to control something you fear, I am not afraid or trying to control (because I know this is beyond my control) I can only go with the flow of it all and my unconscious will determine the outcome, nothing to do with me if I get out of the way of it, Trev
gekiryudojo (March 15, 2009 at 3:42 am)
I hit from every angle because that is how the energy was returned and the opponent caused that, not me, in my later vids I hope to express this feeling more, and yes they cannot stop infinite angles and response I hope you understand this,
gekiryudojo (March 15, 2009 at 3:42 am)
That is a very good comment and observation, In my pressure point videos there is very little Systema because I am showing Techniques, there are no Techniques in Systema, Systema is unconscious it is a mirror or reflection of the conflict and because it is unconscious it is nothing to do with me, I am just an observer,
o26660 (March 15, 2009 at 1:39 am)
Trever, thank you 4 opening my eyes.Your non agresive posture adds to the power of the strike. There is the element of supprise thus opponent cannot see it comming there is no signal also you strike from every angle.John-Sydney
gekiryudojo (February 27, 2009 at 5:30 am)
Thats Kyusho or atami-jutsu. koshijutsu is muscle Tearing, I hope you like the Bujinkan,
ITF91 (February 27, 2009 at 4:54 am)
awesome job!! I'm 17 and just beginning my journey in the martial arts, I've been in ITF Taekwondo for about a year now, still got about 2 and a half years to go for black belt, but I've always been obsessed over ninjutsu, and since I found a Bujinkan dojo in my area, after I get black belt in TKD I'm going straight into the Bujinkan, I really enjoy your koshijutsu videos, they are very clear and provide a detailed image of the striking area...keep it up!! :)
gekiryudojo (February 26, 2009 at 3:35 am)
Glad to be of help!
